Sport & Leisure
Swimming pools, leisure centres, gyms, cinemas, multi-functional accommodation; our portfolio in sport and leisure is continuously expanding. Clients are increasingly asking us to play an advisory role in the preparatory phase. That’s something we really like to do.
True cooperation
After all, producing stunning projects and reliable steel structures starts with a well-oiled process. And cooperation is vital. Both internally as well as with clients. Our process involves optimum coordination between people and between people and machines. And with minimum wastage, so we can always offer our clients the very best price/quality ratio.
Vast experience
In Arnhem, we helped construct the new NOC*NSF training hall at Papendal for the full-time training of elite sportsmen and women. The hall has three floors and two 130-metre-long sprint tracks above each other. Our two teams processed over 500 tonnes of steel on this project.
We also regularly construct covered swimming pools, often in combination with a sports centre, such as De Koog elite sports centre in Koog aan de Zaan. This building is over 6,000 m2 and as well as accommodating an elite sports centre, it also houses a sports centre for grassroots sports, with catering and a sports medical centre. The large sports centre can accommodate at least 1,200 visitors. During the day it is used for physical education and in the evenings it is used by sports clubs.
